Visitor Linkware
Visitor Bases: Visitor bases may be found on the left side menu of this site under the heading "Visitors". These bases may be used by visiting, non-members of my site as well as members of my site.
They can be used to make dollz for layouts, avatars, signatures, and adoptables, but for non-profit use only. Nothing on my bases may be used by non-members for anything that will generate a profit. This includes member areas, premades, custom dollz or layouts, etc.
The only exception is that you may use dollz made from my bases as barter on message boards for message board currency such as points, glow worms, flowers, etc.
Or you may join my site for a small fee. In that case, you may use a doll you made on my base to generate a profit for as long as your membership lasts, after which time you may continue with your membership and add on another 3, 6, or 12 months to your ability to use said doll(s) to generate a profit. You don't need to renew a Lifetime Membership, as it lasts for as long as I've got a Member's Area.
Paid for or not, a link to my site is always required whenever you display a doll made on my base. Either with a hyper link (the kind you click on) or a statement saying you got the base from "shimmerydaze.com", and don't forget the 'dot com'.
Adoptable Dollz: Adoptable dollz may be used unedited by visitors to and members of my site as avatars or signatures or adoptions (not adoptables). Members may incorporate adoptable dollz into layouts for their own sites, not for anyone else's.
Adoptable dollz made by me are not to be sold or resold in any way, shape, or form to anyone for any reason. Neither are they allowed to be set up as adoptable. You may adopt them and link to my site, you may not offer them as adoptions to other visitors.
If you adopt any of my adoptable dollz, or use them as avatars, signatures, or for any other reason, you must link back to my site whenever and wherever they are displayed.
In the Member's Area
Being A Member: I only take payments through paypal.com . You don't have to belong to paypal in order to use paypal.
You must have an established website in order to become a member. You must be courteous to other members, visitors, and myself in order to remain a member.
Do not share membership info such as username and password. Do not share anything that you get from my member's area with non-members. Do not share downloads with members either, let them download their own graphics and such.
Never display anything from my member area in it's raw form. For example, "naked" bases or uncolored line art.
If you have recieved anything from my member's area that you didn't download your self as a member, don't use it. If you were a member and did download it from my site, you may use it for non-profit for as long you like. For as long as you are using anything from my Member Area to make a profit, you must be a member.
If you have results from anything you get in my member's area in your own member's area, you must provide me free access to said member's area upon request. If I find anything I want to use in your member's area, I will buy membership.
Refunds are only issued if you are no longer a member through no fault of your own before your paid period is up. For lifetime memberships, if I decide to close down my membership area less than two years after you join, you will recieve a refund of $2 per month that the site is shut down for, previous to the two year mark.
Member Bases: You may use dollz from bases, towards profit in custom work, member's areas or premades, however they must be made to look at least 20% different than they did when you downloaded them (by adding hair and clothes). And you must remain a member for as long as you are using dollz on my bases to generate a profit. You must credit and link to my site whenever and wherever you display dollz made on my bases. You may use the Linkware bases in the Visitor's section as well with the same agreement.
Member Line Art: You may use my line art towards profit in custom work, member's areas or premades, however they must be made to look at least 20% different than they did when you downloaded them (by coloring them in). And you must remain a member for as long as you are using my line art to generate a profit. You must credit and link to my site whenever and wherever you display line art you got from my site.
Member Dollmakers: You may use dollz from my dollmakers in the same way as you use Adoptable dollz, although you may edit them as much as you like. You must still link back to me if you display them, and they are not to be used directly for profit. They may be used in a layout for your site, but not as part of a layout that you sell.
Member Layouts: You may use layouts for your own sites. Do not redistribute them or sell them for any reason. Layouts can have a link to a "credits" page on every page unless you're using frames or an iframe in which case, you need to link the credits page in the main section of the menu. I have to be credited on the credits page. ;P
Member Tutorials: You may use results from my tutorials towards profit in custom work, member's areas or premades, however they must be made to look at least 20% different than the examples made in the tutorial. Use the technique, not the graphic. And you must remain a member for as long as you are using my line art to generate a profit. You must credit and link to my site whenever and wherever you display results of my tutorials.
Other Member Features:You may not resell anything you find in the '& More' section, but you may edit the backgrounds and landscapes to make or use as graphics for your site. You must credit and link to my site whenever and wherever you display anything found anywhere in my member's area.
Custom Work
Custom Portraits and Dollz: You may use these for printable business cards, in layouts for your site, as avatars or signatures on message boards. You may not resell the portrait or doll, and you must always credit me for creation.
Custom Bases: You may use custom bases in order to make a profit by selling dollz made one them, layouts made from dollz on said bases, etc. You may not resell the naked base, but you may offer it for use in the Member Area of your site. You may offer it for free use as well. If you use my custom bases anywhere for any reason, I require a link back or at least a text credit and link "shimmerydaze.com" to my site whenever and wherever you post your dollz made from my bases on display.
